Egypt Zizo Uncertain About His Future After Helping Zamalek To League Triumph

Zamalek celebrated their second consecutive Egyptian Premier League title in their 1-1 draw agianst Al Ittihad on Tuesday following Pyramids’ 1-0 defeat to Future FC the previous day gaving the White Knights an unassailable lead.

However, Ahmed ‘Zizo’ Sayed who has played a pivotal role for Jesualdo Ferreira’s side this season, Ahmed Zizo did not rule out a summer move away from Zamalek after after helping them successfully defend their title.

The 26-year-old winger, who has contributed with 19 goals and 14 assists in 30 league appearances this season, is six goals ahead of Smouha striker Marwan Hamdy in the scoring charts with two games left to play and is set to walk away with the personal accolade.

However, he was non-committal when asked about his future at the Cairo International Stadium in an interview after the game against Al Ittihad.

Playing at Zamalek is a great honor. And I am proud of having this honor. I don’t know my future with the club yet.” Zizo told OnTime Sports.

We made a miracle. We succeeded to keep the trophy at the club for the second time in a row despite our difficult circumstances.” Added the 26-year-old winger.
