The Cape Coast Stadium is scheduled to host the eagerly awaited match. It starts at 5 p.m., Nigerian time.
Ghana is eager to defeat its longtime nemesis Nigeria once more after preventing them from qualifying for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Galaxies are also hoping to participate in the CHAN again after missing out on the last three competitions.
In the preliminary round, Walker Annor’s team overcame Benin Republic 4-0 overall to secure a meeting with Nigeria.
In the most recent competition, which was held in Cameroon, the national Super Eagles were unable to advance.
In the competition’s previous iteration, Salisu Yusuf’s team advanced to the final but fell to Morocco, the hosts, 4-0.
The rematch is scheduled for Saturday, September 3 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The CHAN is designed for athletes competing in the domestic leagues in their respective nations.
