Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has sent a clear message to Cristiano who is once again on the bench as the Red Devils host Arsenal at Old Trafford this Sunday.

For the fourth time in a row, Ronaldo has been benched by United manager Erik ten Hag.

Meanwhile, the Dutch manager handed a starting role to Red Devils’ last summer signing Antony who costed them €100m from Ajax Amsterdam.

And the Brazilian forward proved him right as he scored on his debut before Arsenal equalized.

Speaking on his choice before the kick-off, Ten Hag said : “He [Antony] knows the style we want to play and what we expect and demand. He can be an offensive threat with his speed in one on ones.”
