CAF Champions League CAF Women’s Champions League:Bayelsa Queens To Face Mamelodi Sundowns

In Group B of the CAF Women’s Champions League, the Nigerian team Bayelsa Queens will compete against the South African team Mamelodi Sundowns and the Egyptian team Wadi Degla.

The second CAF Women’s Champions League draw took place today (Friday) in Rabat, Morocco.

After the Central African Football Federations’ Union (UNIFFAC) zonal tournament, which is scheduled to take place from September 10 to September 16 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, is over, the fourth team in Group B will be made public.

The Simba Queens of Tanzania, the Green Buffaloes of Zambia, the Determine Girls of Liberia, and the host club AS Far of Morocco will compete in Group A.


The Confederation of African Football will host the second iteration of the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2022. (CAF).

The event’s current iteration will take place in Morocco from October 30 to November 13 of 2022.

When Rivers Angels participated in the first competition in Egypt in 2021, they were the first club to represent Nigeria.

The Port-Hacourt club was placed in a group with Mamelodi Sundowns AS Far of Morocco and Vihiga of Kenya, however they were unable to advance.

After defeating Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-0 in the championship game of the WAFU B Qualifiers competition at the Yamoussoukro Stadium in Côte d’Ivoire, Bayelsa secured their spot in this year’s CAF Women’s Champions League.
