Henry Onyekuru, who is injured, has been replaced in the Nigerian team for the international friendly against the Algerian Desert Foxes by Emmanuel Dennis.
Onyekuru was included in Nigeria’s 25-man roster for the contest on Saturday morning by head coach Jose Peseiro.
However, the 25-year-old was hurt later that day as his team Adana Demirspor defeated Antalyaspor 3-0.

At halftime, he was replaced by a fellow countryman, David Akintola.
Dennis will now assume his spot in the team, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said.
“Update: Emmanuel Dennis replaces injured Henry Onyekuru for Algeria,”reads a tweet on the NFF’s official Twitter handle.
This summer, Dennis moved from Watford to Nottingham Forest.
He participated in Friday night’s 3-2 loss to Fulham for Nottingham Forest.
On Tuesday, September 27, the Super Eagles will play Algeria at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran.
