CAF CONFEDERATION CUP Nigeria Withdraws From 2022 Beach Soccer As CAF Releases New Fixtures

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released a revised fixture for the 2022 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations following the withdrawal of Nigeria from the competition.

Seven teams will now compete for the championship at the fifth edition tournament as a result of Nigeria’s withdrawal.

The three (3) teams in Group A are the three (3) hosts, Mozambique, Malawi, and Morocco.

Group B is made up of four teams. Senegal, Uganda, Madagascar, and Egypt are among them.

On October 21 at Vilankulos Arena, the hosts Mozambique, the runners-up from the AFCON in 2021, and Malawi, who is competing for the first time, will play each other.

On October 28, the Beach Soccer AFCON championship game will be played to be hosted by Mozambique.
