Friendly Super Eagles Players Arrives Costa Rica Ahead Of Friendly Game

Prior to the international friendly encounter between Nigeria and Costa Rica on Thursday, the delegation of the Super Eagles of Nigeria landed in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, on Sunday evening.

At 10:30 p.m. local time, the group, which included Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi, a member of the NFF Executive Committee, arrived by way of Panama City on Copa Airlines (5:30am on Monday in Nigeria).

The Super Eagles traveled with a playing squad of 18 players, two coaches, and other team officials for the friendly match scheduled for them by the Nigeria Football Federation.

A representative of the Costa Rican Football Federation welcomed the Nigerian delegation.

The Super Eagles are staying at the Real Intercontinental Hotel in San Jose as they get ready for the big game. The Super Eagles were invited as a part of the major events that will send the Los Ticos to the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.

The game, which is slated to take place at San Jose’s National Stadium, will begin on November 9 at 8 p.m. Costa Rican time (which is 3 a.m. on November 10 in Nigeria).
