FIFA World Cup World Cup: Tunisia Vs Denmark Confirmed Starting XI

Tunisia kick off their FIFA World Cup campaign against Denmark in Qatar with eyes on the three points.

The North Africans have suffered group exits in all five of their previous appearances and boast just two wins from 15 games – the first against Mexico in 1978 and then against Panama in 2018.

The game is scheduled to kick off by 2pm at the Education City Stadium.

Here is how both side line up for the group opener.

Former Sunderland winger and second on Tunisia‘s all-time top scorers’ list Wahbi Khazri does not make the starting XI. Their threat instead will come from striker and captain Yousef Msakni who has 17 goals in 87 caps for his country.

For Denmark, Christian Eriksen starts along with Premier League colleagues Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rasmus Kristensen and Joachim Andersen.

Club Bruges forward Andreas Skov Olsen, their joint top scorer in qualifying, leads the line for the Danes.

Tunisia Starting XI: Dahmen, Talbi, Meriah, Bronn, Drager, Skhiri, Laidouni, Abdi,. Ben Slimane, Msakni, Jebali.

Denmark Starting XI: Schmeichel, Andersen, Kjaer, Christensen, Kristensen, Delaney, Eriksen, Hojbjerg, Maehle, Skov Olsen, Dolberg.
