Ghana Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has resigned at the helm of the national team following their 0elimination of World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Ghana had the opportunity to take the lead first but Andre Ayew missed his penalty like Asamoah Gyan in 2010.

And Uruguayans controlled the remainder of the game with Girogian de Arrascaeta scoring a brace.

The Celeste could have even netted another third goal which would have qualified them for the next round.

However, they failed to do so, but the result knocked out Ghana from the World Cup as they failed to equalize.

Otto Addo’s coaching has been questioning by fans since the start of the tournament and now he decided to leave his job.

The Borussia Dortmund assistant coach was appointed Black Stars coach back in February this year for the World Cup qualifiers and he led Black Stars to beating arch-rivals Niger in the play-offs.

In addition, Otto Addo coached the Black Stars in 12 games. He recorded 5 wins [with Kirin Cup 3rd place match against Chile], 3 draws and 4 losses.
