2022 will not be the year England win their second World Cup trophy as the Three Lions bowed to defending champions France on Saturday night in the last quarterfinal clash.

Gareth Southgate’s men have really tried all they can in order to claim all three points but have been unlucky at some point.

After Aurélien Tchouameni’s opener, Harry Kane who restored the parity for England had the opportunity to equalize again, but the Tottenham star threw it away few minutes after Olivier Giroud’s header.

Les Bleus won the game by 2-0 and will take on Walid Regragui’s Morocco in semifinals.
