Manchester United legend Gary Neville singles out a Liverpool player as the best in the world world at the moment the Reds are struggling in Premier League.

The Reds are winless in their last two games with a surprising 1-2 loss to Brentford in the Premier League while conceding a disappointing draw against Wolves in FA Cup’s third round.

However, Gary Neville still rates the club’s goalkeeper Alisson Becker as the best in the world at the moment.

“I think he’s been the best in the world. The World Cup might have just shed a little bit of doubt on that, if anybody had any doubt over that. But for me, he still remains the best goalkeeper that I see in world football at this moment in time,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“There is one statistic in the Premier League this season that is absolutely frightening when it comes to Alisson. Only 11 goalkeepers out of the 28 used this season have performed better in comparison to their expected goals conceded,” he added.
