Niger took the last CHAN 2022 tournament quarter-finals ticket ahead of Cameroon Indomitable Lions following their narrow but important 1-0 win tonight in Oran.

Ousseni Badamassi’s goal in the 69th minute was enough for local Mena to seal through to the next round.

Cameroonians needed only a draw to secure their ticket for the knockout stage, but unfortunately conceded that goal which sent them home.
