Nigerian Players abroad Moffi Signs Four and Half Years Deal With OGC Nice From Lorient

French Ligue 1 club, Lorient has accepted OGC Nice’s bid for Super Eagles attacker Terem Moffi.

Nice paid the striker €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

According to rumors, Moffi is already getting a medical checkup before the relocation.

Upon passing his physical, the 23-year-old will sign a four and a half year contract.

It represents the largest departing transfer in Lorient’s history.


Moffi transferred from KV Kortrijk of the Belgian Pro League to Les Merlus for €8 million in October 2020.

After Lorient reached their assessment of the player, they wanted him to join Olympique Marseille, but the Nigerian international insisted on going to the Riviera club.

In 20 league games for Lorient this year, Moffi scored 12 goals.
