FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP FIFA CWC: Courtois Set To Miss Semi Final Clash Against Al Ahly

Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper for Real Madrid, is allegedly unlikely to play in any of his team’s matches at the Club World Cup.

Recall that Andriy Lunin was in charge of the goalkeeping duties during Mallorca’s 1-0 victory at the Iberostar Stadium thanks to an own goal from Nacho.

Courtois will likely have tests today and tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury he suffered during the team’s warm-up prior to kickoff.

The Club World Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Al-Ahly of Egypt will be played on February 8 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Four times is a record for Real Madrid in Club World Cup victories.
