Mali and Al Ahly midfielder Aliou Dieng fires warning to Real Madrid ahead of their Club World Coup semi-final clash on Wednesday.

After claiming the Bronze medal two years ago, the Egyptian Premier League side is dreming bigger this year.

The Red Devils booted out Auckland City in the first round and Seattle Sounders in the second one to book their spot for the semi-finals where they’ll take on European champions Real Madrid.

Speaking to FIFA website ahead of the game, Aliou Dieng said it will be a dream match for him.

However, he assured that he and his teammates will not be having pressure when facing Carlo Ancelotti’s men who will be without Ballon d’or 2022 winner Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois.

“Obviously, I am so delighted as we managed to reach the semi-finals again, and I am also so happy to be facing the champions of Europe Real Madrid,” Aliou Dieng said.

“To play against Real Madrid is the dream. If we were told that we would be playing against Real Madrid, we would reply no, you must be insane. It is really a dream come true.

“We are going to enjoy playing at the top level. and see what will happen. It is a dream match against the European giants.”
