Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra says Lionel Messi would have won 15 Ballon d’Ors should the PSG superstar has Cristiano Ronaldo work ethic.
Evra always made it clear that Ronaldo is the GOAT in his mind.
The Frenchamn played alongside the Portuguese star at Man United where they won many trophies including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions league.
However, Evra also showed respect to Messi anytime he has the opportunity to talk about the 2022 World Champion.
But according to him, the former Barcelona goal-getter would have more than 7 Ballon d’ors if he is working like Ronaldo.

“I want to explain why I say Ronaldo, it is not because he is our brother. It is because I love his work ethic. I feel like Messi, God just gave him talent and said to go play with those kids”, Evra said on Rio Ferdinand’s VIBE With FIVE Podcast.
“Cristiano had to work for it, even if he had the talent, he had to work for it. I think if Messi had the same work ethic as Cristiano, Messi would probably have 15 Ballon d’Ors today.
“I just love people that work hard and that is why I picked Cristiano and I know after the World Cup they say now the GOAT is Messi or whatever but Ronaldo is on a different level.
“If someone picks Messi I will agree with him but it is just that we have a different opinion, we just have to be blessed and grateful that we played with those players. There’s no wrong answer.”
