Chelsea Chelsea Continues Resurgence With Win Against Leicester

Chelsea’s thrilling 3-1 victory at Leicester brought an end to a great week by giving coach Graham Potter one less thing to worry about.

The Blues advanced into the quarterfinals of the Champions League on Tuesday with a comeback victory against Dortmund after picking up a crucial three points against Leeds the previous weekend.

Ben Chilwell gave them an early lead against his old team as they continued their winning streak, but Patson Daka tied the score with a spectacular 25-yard effort that sailed into the bottom corner.

But in the first-half injury time, Chelsea took the lead once more when Kai Havertz lobbed goalkeeper Danny Ward.

Mateo Kovacic then put an end to it with a volley as Leicester suffered their fourth straight loss.

After Faes surged in and was given a second yellow, Brendan Rodgers’ team from Leicester was reduced to just one point above the relegation zone.
