The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia will be Ladan Bosso’s primary goal as the head coach of the Flying Eagles.
The just-completed Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt saw the seven-time defending champions of Africa finish with the bronze medal after falling short of retaining their crown.
The Flying Eagles beat Tunisia 4-0 in the third-place game to successfully end the competition.

Bosso is confident his squad can win the World Cup even though they were unable to claim the grand prize in Egypt.
“Our fresh target is doing very well at the FIFA World Cup,” Bosso said during the reception organized for the team in Abuja on Monday night.
“That is our next target and we will work hard to ensure we bring the trophy to Nigeria.”
The Flying Eagles have twice advanced to the U-20 World Cup final but lost both times.
