Inter Milan survived a late onslaught of pressure at Porto to escape with a 0-0 draw that advanced them 1-0 on aggregate and into the quarterfinals of the Champions League for the first time in more than ten years.

A sold-out Dragao stadium witnessed a discouraging evening for the home crowd as the Portuguese champions attempted in vain to erase the slim deficit from the first leg in Italy.

A focused Inter team appeared satisfied to maintain their lead and did not encounter a significant danger until extra time.
