Following Patrick Vieira’s dismissal, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish claimed that the atmosphere at his team is still positive and put all of his trust in former captain Paddy McCarthy to captain the team against Arsenal.

The under-21s coach will be accompanied by his deputy at that level, Darren Powell, and first-team goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely when Palace travels to face the Premier League leaders on Sunday, according to a club statement.
