Nigeria Women Football League NWFL: Delta Queens Coach Vows To Continue Unbeaten Streak

With the election delays behind us, the stage is now set for the return of club contests for who makes it to the Super Six in the elite Nigeria Women Football League NWFL.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, the Stephen Keshi Township Stadium in Asaba will host one of the match day 10 matches between Delta Queens FC and Heartland Queens of Owerri.

Speaking to the media on behalf of the team Head Coach of Group A table toppers Delta Queens FC, Coach Tosan Blankson, says the Pearls are sticking to the philosophy of “Every game is a final” ahead of the home match against heartland of Owerri, adding that they have a target to remain unbeaten in the Nigerian Women Football League, NPFL for the season.

“We always believe in keeping it simple and giving our best in every game, hence the strong commitment to every game like a final”

“We are not playing under pressure but we also will not take our opponent for granted, we know they are like wonded lion trying to make it to the super six at the detriment of another very big side so they will be all out for result taking every game very seriously too”

” So as usual it is a battle and we never relax until it is truely over”
