Ghana Black Stars defeated Angola 1-0 on Thursday afternoon in Kumai thanks to Antoine Semenyo’s goal in the dying minutes of the game.

The Black Stars begin Chris Hughton ear with a narrow win as Palancas Negras showed them a tough opposition.

The visitors held Ghana to a goalless draw at the break and were on the verge of securing a draw at full-time.

However, Antoine Semenyo ended their hope as he netted the winner for the Black Stars in the additional time (90+6).

Ghana now lead Group E with 7 points ahead of the reverse leg in Luanda on Monday at 4pm.
