Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Nasarawa United Signs 8 New Players Ahead of season Restart

Nasarawa United’s management has recruited and introduced eight new players in order to enhance the club’s fortunes in the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL second half.

The Solid Miners, who are playing their home games away from home, had a forgettable first stanza of the league, blowing hot and cold.

They remained in the relegation zone despite defeating Remo Stars in their final game of the first stanza.

A goalkeeper, four defenders, and three forwards are among the freshly recruited players.

Goalkeeper Mohamed Galadima and center-back Victor Collins both returned to the club after spells with Wikki Tourists and Amanat Baghdad FC of Iraq, respectively.

Samson Vandi Drambi and Nelson Abiam, both right full-backs, joined from EFCC FC of Abuja in the second tier, while Nelson Abiam came from Wikki Tourists. Aminu Yusuf, a full-back from the neighboring Lobi Stars, has also joined.

Kazeem Abdulrafiu, Isaac James Ogiri, and Kola were signed from Ruqayya Football Academy in Kaduna, ABS FC in Ilorin, and Gombe United FC in Gombe, in that order.
