Ghana Black Stars are yet to qualify for 2023 AFCON as they wre held to a 1-1 draw by Angola on Monday afternoon in Luanda in the reverse leg of their double tie.

Chris Hughton changed made several changes from the team that started last week.

And things did not work out for him as Black Stars conceded the first goal on penalty few minutes after the second half started (51) with Lucas Joao neting the opener for the Palancas Negras.

Ghana waited until the 72nd minute before finding the solution thanks to a lovely Joseph Paintsil assist which was concverted by Osman Bukari.

It’s a disappointing draw for thr West African side which is now compelled to wait until the next international break in June before securing their qualification.
