The Super Eagles have returned to Nigeria after taking sweet retribution on the Guinea Bissau Wild Dogs in Bissau.
According to a video released by the Super Eagles Media Officer, Babafemi Raji, the players and officials, led by the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Sanusi Mohammed, were seen alighting from a chartered Air Peace flight at 2:15 a.m.
Today, the Super Eagles players will start booking flights back to their various teams in Europe.

The three-time African champions were upset 0-1 by Guinea at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja last Friday, but they reclaimed first place in Group A three days later with a stunning 1-0 win.
Guinea Bissau is in second place with seven points, while Sierra Leone, the Eagles’ next opponent, is in fifth place with five. Sao Tome and Principe have only one point from four games.
Moses Simon’s 30-minute penalty put the visitors ahead.
The Super Eagles have recaptured first place in the rankings with nine points, while Guinea Bissau has seven.
Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe each have five points (from four games).
The top two teams in Group A will advance to the Cote d’Ivoire-hosted African Nations Cup in 2024.
