The former Ajax Amstersam hitman had the opportunity to net the equalizer for his side, but his shoot was stopped by the goalkeeper.

Few minutes later, Mainz doubled their lead and Dortmund is trailed by 2-0 at home while Bayern Munich is leading against Köln.
