
On Monday’s second matchday of the 2023 NPL Super Six Playoffs, Rivers United’s late goal forced them to settle for a thrilling 2-2 draw with Remo.
Olamilekan Adedayo, who had also tied the score for his team on 71 minutes, scored in the 93rd minute to put Remo ahead in what would have been their first victory.
However, Abegunrin Lukman dashed the Ikenne club hope as he scored in the 96th minute to give Rivers a point, though.

In the sixteenth minute, Nyima Nwagua had put Rivers United ahead.
Following two games, Rivers United presently holds the second-place spot with four points, while Remo is in fourth place with two points.
Enyimba defeated Lobi Stars in the opening encounter of the second matchday by a score of 1-0.
