New Al-Ittihad forward Karim Benzema sent Cristiano Ronaldo a message after joining the Portuguese in the Saudi Pro League.
Few moments after saying goodbye to Real Madrid and its fans on Tuesday, Benzema quickly signed his contract with Al-Ittihad and was unveiled by the club.
The 2022 Ballon d’or winner signed a contract which run until June 2026 and will earn around €200m per season.

Speaking on his arrival in Saudi Arabia, the former Real Madrid star hailed Al-Ittihad.
He also sent a message to his friend Cristiano Ronaldo who was the first superstar to join Saudi Arabia in January after parting ways with Manchester United.
“Al Ittihad is a new challenge for me. It’s a good league and there are many good players”, he said.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is already here, he is a friend who shows that Saudi Arabia is starting to get ahead and I am here to win as I did in Europe.”
