Borussia Dortmund have just announced Jude Bellingham departure as the 19-year old will joined La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Bellingham joined BVB in 2020 while he was only 17.

However, he developped quickly with the club and became one of the key players at the extent that he was part of the club’s captains in the just-ended season.

However, European powerhouses interests forced Borussia Dortmund to let him go with Real Madrid being his destination.

“The player Jude Bellingham is close to move from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid C.F.”, BVB statement reads.

“This is the today´s mutual agreement in principle of the parties. The contractual details now have to be coordinated and completed. Moreover, the realization of the transfer is still subject to the proper and timely processing in accordance with the provisions of the FIFA Transfer Matching System (FIFA TMS).”

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bellingham signs a six-year deal until June 2029 with Real Madrid.

Los Blancos paid €103m for the deal to be materialized.

Bellingham is due to receive a €12m salary per year with Real Madrid.
