
Kakamega Homeboyz secured their first win of the season against Tusker in the third round of the FKF Premier League on Saturday.
Homeboyz started the scoring early in the third minute through an Ambrose Sifuna strike before Moses Shummah stretched the lead in the 27th minute. Tusker however pulled one back in the 70th minute through Zakayo Eric.
In Homabay Stadium, Clinton Kinanga scored a 94th-minute equaliser for Kenya Police to deny Shabana FC their first win of the season. Shabana took the lead in the 88th minute through Peter Ogechi before seeing their short-lived lead taken away in the dying minutes of the game.
Meanwhile, the dockers, Bandari FC made home advantage count when they beat Ulinzi Stars by a sole goal by Abdalla Hassan in the 36th minute. In other results, AFC Leopards played out a 0-0 draw against Muhoroni Youth while the millers, Nzoia Sugar drew 1-1 against Bidco United.
