In a game of many squandered opportunities, Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo gave his team the lead in first-half stoppage time when striker Victor Osimhen headed the ball away from goal and the Italy defender seized his opportunity to bounce it in off the bar.
After the break, Braga, who are playing in the Champions League for the third time and for the first time in eleven seasons, upped their game, and striker Bruma scored an equaliser in the 84th minute with a header from a well placed cross by substitute Rodrigo Zalazar.
