
The Super Eagles of Nigeria’s have been placed in Pot 2 ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations to be hosted by Ivory Coast next year .
In the most recent World Soccer ruling body draw, the three-time African champion was rated 40th globally and 6th in Africa.
The draw pots were made public by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the Super Eagles of Nigeria were included in pot 2 together with Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Mali.

With 15 points from 6 games, the Super Eagles won their qualifying group and qualified for the next round.
The drawing is scheduled for October 12 in Abidjan.
