Young Africans (Yanga SC) bounced back to winning ways in the Tanzanian Premier League following a 3-0 blitz of Geita Gold at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza on Saturday.
Pacome Zouzoua got the opening goal in the 43rd minute before Stephanie Aziz Ki stretched the lead in the stoppage time of the first half. As this was not enough, Maxi Nzengeli increased the tally in the 68th minute to completely dismantle the hosting side.
With the outcome, Yanga moved to second place on the table with 12 points same as rivals Simba but the former enjoy a good goal average of 15 goals against 12 goals from the latter. However, Simba can return to the top of the summit if they defeat Singida Big Stars at Liti Stadium in Singida on Sunday.
