Nigeria’s Super Falcons easily defeated Ethiopia’s Lucy 4-0 after a lacklustre first half effort.

Nigeria took the lead at the half thanks to a goal by Uchenna Kanu in the 45th minute.

Midway through the second half, Nigeria’s lead was increased by captain Raheedat Ajibade, and the third goal was scored by FC Barcelona Feminine forward Asisat Oshoala.

Later in the match, Ajibade finished her brace, giving Nigeria a convincing 4-0 win that advanced them to the third round of the qualifying round.

Nigeria advanced to the next round with an overall score of 5-1.
