Uganda Paul Put appointed new Uganda Cranes head coach

Federation of Uganda Football Association announced the appointment of Paul Put as the new head coach of the Cranes following Milutin “Milo” Sredojevic’s dismissal.

Sredojevic left his post after a disappointing Africa Cups of Nations qualifying campaign with the Cranes ending at the third place of their group with 7 points.

In early October, local coach Morley Byekwaso has been named interim coach of the national team.

But the FA has finally found the replacement of coach Milo which is Belgian manager Paul Put.

The news was announced on social media by FUFA on Thursday morning.

Paul Put is not a new figure in African football as he has coached Burkina Faso, Gambia, Guinea , Kenya and recently Congo Brazzaville national teams.
