
Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes has extended his contractw with La Liga giants Real Madrid until June 2028 on Thursday, the Spanish side announced.
The 22-year old has been one of Los Blancos’ main forces especially during the 2021/22 season when he scored crucial goals to help his side clinch their 15th UEFA Champions league title.
Just a day after his countryman Vinicius Jr extended his contract, the former Santos player also put pen on paper.

“Real Madrid C. F. and Rodrygo have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which is linked to the club until June 30, 2028”, the club statement reads.
Real Madrid did not communicate on Rodrygo’s release clause amount but Spanish media reports claim it has been set at €1billion.
According to The Athletic, Real Madrid has also increased Rodrygo Goes’ salary making him one of the highest earners in the dressing room.
