For the third time running, Victor Boniface has been named the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month.
Boniface won the prize ahead of Brajan Gruda and Xavi Simons.
In August and September, the 22-year-old took home the prize.
In three league games for Bayer Leverkusen this month, the Nigerian international netted one goal and contributed one assist.

In Leverkusen’s UEFA Europa League matchup against Qarabag on Thursday night, the former Bodo/Glimt player netted the lone goal.
With a league-high 15 attempts on goal in the month, the forward’s total for the season stands at 54, far ahead of Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, who has the next-most attempts in the German top tier with 36.
After making his debut in September, Boniface scored his first goal for Nigeria in the international arena to round out his October.
In 14 appearances for Xabi Alonso’s team this season in all competitions, he has 10 goals and 6 assists.
