The Black Queens of Ghana have qualified for the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations WAFCON despite a 1-0 loss to Namibia on Tuesday.
The Black Queens qualified on a 3-2 aggregate as Namibia almost dented their chance of reaching the tournament.
Namibia who played a 3-1 in the first leg were hoping to turn the score line as they took the lead in the 20th minute of the first half.
The hosts could not score another goal as Ghana held on to the 3-2 aggregate to reach next year’s tournament after a five-year hiatus.
Ghana have now Algeria, South Africa and hosts Morocco who booked their place in the WAFCON tournament.
