CAF CONFEDERATION CUP CAFCC: Dream FC Beat Lobito To Record Second Victory

Dream FC, a debutante from Ghana, defeated APC Lobito of Angola on the road to start Group C of the 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian champions have done well in the group despite being new to the competition.

They lost their first game in Tunisia against Club Africain, but they came back hard to defeat Rivers United in the second group game and triumph over Lobito FC in the second straight game.

Issah’s goal in the tenth minute, Antwi’s double in the 58th, and Avocevou’s goal in the 88th minute sealed the rout to secure a convincing victory over APC Lobito on the road.

With the win, three teams—Club Africain, Dream FC, and Rivers United—were tied for sixth place heading into the fourth matchday of the following week.

The return leg between Rivers United and Club Africaine will take place in Tunisia on December 20, while Dream FC will host APC Lobito.
