Simba SC were forced to a 2-2 Tanzanian Premier League draw by KMC at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
KMC seized the lead in the 30th minute courtesy of Waziri Junior making the first half to end in favour of the hosts. In the second half, Simba put into the net two quick goals thanks to Saidi Ntibazonkiza and Jean Baleke in 57th and 58th minute respectively.
But, playing with composure, the Kinondon- based side made a late comeback as Waziri bagged his brace in the 88th minute. It was Simba’s goalie Ayoub Lakred, who punched the ball to the direction of the on rushing striker, who coolly finished the business.
As it stands, the Reds have accumulated 23 points from ten matches and remain on third place. For KMC, they are now on fourth slot with 21 points after 14 engagements.
