Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Offor Blames Players Injury For Sporting Lagos Poor Results

Head coach Paul Offor of Sporting Lagos has blamed his players’ injuries for the team’s poor performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

On Match Day 17 of the Nigerian Premier League in Aba, Enyimba International defeated the “Noisy Lagosians” by a score of two goals to none.

Offor promised to begin fresh on a positive note following a run of subpar performances. He bemoaned his team’s easy goals given up during the game.

“We shouldn’t at this time be conceding the type of goals we conceded and it’s unfortunate we conceded those goals.

“There is nothing we can do about it.

“We started the season well. We are unfortunate with injuries.

” We had lot’s of injuries that gave us a lot of instability and we keep using different line-up and set-up to adjust to our situation.

“Right now we have everybody back and we have to restart again.”
