Nigeria Super Eagles has departed Lagos in a chartered flight to Abidjan on Wednesday morning ahead of the AFCON 2023 competition to be hosted by Ivory Coast.
In order to highlight the national colours, the authorities and players wore traditional white kaftans with green headgear.
About an hour and forty minutes is spent on the direct flight to Abidjan.
The team in Abidjan will welcome back strikers Kelechi Iheanacho and Terem Moffi.

Iheanacho has recovered from a muscular injury, according to coach Jose Peseiro.
After arriving from Dubai, where they had trained for six days, the team was treated to a send-forth meal by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday.
Equatorial Guinea, the Eagles’ opponents on the opening day, is among the teams who will arrive in Cote d’Ivoire today.
The Eagles have a reservation at the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan, which they will share with Group D’s regular opponents, Ghana.
On Sunday, Nigeria will play Nzlang National of Equatorial Guinea in their AFCON debut.
It kicks off at 3 p.m.
