Ahead of the AFCON in 2023, the Super Eagles held their first training session in Cote d’Ivoire today.
The three-time winners arrived in the Ivorian capital of Abidjan for the 34th AFCON championships and held their first training session.
They held another training session this evening in preparation of their opening game against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
At 11.23 a.m. Cote d’Ivoire time (12.23 p.m. Nigeria time), the Super Eagles players and officials arrived on a chartered aircraft.
They were dressed in traditional Nigerian kaftans and matching caps.
The Super Eagles were photographed by the Confederation of African Football shortly after they arrived in Abidjan.
The Super Eagles play Guinea-Bissau to end the round-robin phase and start their campaign against Equatorial Guinea.
