Super Eagles of Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea are heading into the break tied on a 1-1 draw in their Group A opening game.
Equatorial Guinea headed to the game as the underdog with the Super Eagles tipped to qualify to the next round alongside hosts, Ivory Coast.
However, Equatorial Guinea took a surprise lead against Nigeria as Ivan Salvador curled a low shot to give his side the lead in the 36th minute.
However, Victor Osimhen who is playing his first AFCON for the Super Eagles instantly responded for Nigeria to level for the Super Eagles.
