AFCON AFCON 2023:Subscribers In Limbo As Senegal Vs Gambia Game Go Off Air

There was a breakdown of broadcast feed from Yamoussoukro as reigning Champions Senegal take the lead against the Gambia.

The game was almost approaching the end of first half when the broadcast feed was lost as broadcasters are unable to beam the match to audience watching at home across the globe.

The problem started when the players filed out to the pitch but there was no audio from SuperSports.

While subscribers of Multichoice are waiting for them to fix the picture issues, SuperSports showed highlights of all AFCON finals from 2010 to 2021 and cut out 2013 AFCON Nigeria won in south Africa.

The first half ended with the live broadcast not restored from SuperSports.

Pape Gueye had handed Senegal the lead just four minutes of play from a Sadio Mane assist.
