The Nigerian Flamingos defeated the Central African Republic 6-0 in the second leg of their 2024 FIFA U-17 women’s World Cup qualifiers on Friday at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja, moving them on to the third round.
The first leg likewise finished 6-0, so the Flamingos advanced 12-0 overall with this victory.
Ramota Kareem scored two goals, Tessy Ojiyovwi scored one goal, and Harmony Chidi scored a hat-trick.

In the second minute, Harmony put the Nigerian team the lead, and in the fourteenth, he added another.
Ojiyovwi made it 3-0 in the 36th minute, and Kareem scored the fourth and fifth goals, respectively, on the 55th and 85th minutes.

Africa will be represented by three teams in the Dominican Republic during the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup this year.
The competition will take place in 2024 between October 16 and November 3,.
