Ugandan Premier League champions Vipers SC missed an opportunity to further reduce the gap on leaders, BUL, to four points after being held to 0-0 draw at home by Gaddafi on Thursday.
This on the same scoreless day after Wakiso Giants also defied Maroons 0-0 at the Prisons Ground in Luzira. Vipers fourth draw in 16 matches, one fewer than BUL, keeps the Venoms third on the table on 31 points, six behind the leaders.
For Gaddafi, their second draw – this one at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende – in 17 matches is a point gained as it moves them to two marks away from relegation.
