Olympic Games Super Falcons, Banyana Olympic Qualifier To Hold April 1

In April, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will play their longtime rivals South Africa in the opening leg of their final round qualification match for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The game is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 1, 2024, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The second leg is set to take place on April 8 at Mbombela Stadium.

To guarantee their spot in the championship round, the Super Falcons defeated the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 on aggregate.

South Africa, the defending African champions, defeated Tanzania 4-0 overall.

The last time the Super Falcons competed at the Olympics was in 2008.

The Olympic Games of 2024 are scheduled to take place in Paris, France from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
