Nigeria Premier League NPFL Board Slam Niger Tornadoes With N3m Fine

Niger Tornadoes was fined N3 million by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) board for inadequate security during their home match against Rangers last weekend.

The Ikon Allah Boys were defeated by Rangers 2-0.

The NPFL claims that the Tornadoes violated its rules by neglecting to manage their supporter base.

The Minna Club has forty-eight hours to challenge this ruling.

This season, the team is fighting to avoid being demoted from the top division.

Currently, with 24 points from 22 games, the team is ranked 18th in the table.
