England Man United : Erik ten Hag told he will be sacked no matter FA Cup final result

Erik ten Hag may prepare himself to leaving Manchester United at the end of the season as the club will sack him even if he wins the FA Cup for the Red Devils against Manchester City in final.

The Dutch manager appears to loose control of the situation as his team never behave as one of it’s type even against League Two sides like Coventry in FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

The Red Devils were leading 3-0 but still managed to concede three goals and escaped elimination in the extra-time before sealing their final ticket in the penalties.

There is qualification to the FA Cup final at the end for Man United but the team’s performance is more and more concerning week after week.

And for Alan Shearer, not even a FA Cup win over Man City will help Erik ten Hag keep his job : “I think the future of the Manchester United manager is already determined. Even if they win the FA Cup I think he’s gone,” he said on the Rest Is Football podcast.

“I don’t think it matters whether they win the FA Cup for his future. That may be sad, that may be wrong but I just get the feeling that winning the FA Cup is not going to be enough for him.

“When you look at the players, when you look at the attitude, where they are in the league and all those things: Where they want to be, where they want to go, in a quick time I think he’s already gone.”
